Check in at our office in the center of Madrid fifteen minutes before your tour departs. Board one of our air-conditioned buses and head to Segovia.
Our first stop will be the city of Segovia. Upon arrival, we will divide into different groups. If you have chosen the "Ávila and Segovia on your own" option, you will enjoy approximately three hours of free time to explore on your own. If you have chosen the "with Alcázar and City Walls" option, you will visit the Alcázar of Segovia, where you will enjoy a guided tour while marveling at its spectacular fortifications. Did you know that its architecture inspired Walt Disney for one of his films? Can you tell us which one?
Walk through the city's old Jewish quarter and visit the exterior of the Cathedral. Those with the included gourmet lunch will head to the restaurant to enjoy a typical local menu featuring roast suckling pig that is sure to impress.
After enjoying Segovia, we'll continue our journey to Ávila, one of Spain's best-preserved fortified cities. If you've chosen the "Ávila and Segovia on Your Own" option, you'll enjoy the city at your leisure. This option includes entrance to the city walls, allowing you to explore them independently during your stay.
The rest of the group will follow the guide on a guided tour of the old town to discover the city's impressive history. Admire Romanesque churches, Gothic palaces, and a fortified medieval cathedral. Visit the walls of Ávila while imagining the stories they've witnessed throughout the centuries. Marvel at the fortifications and towers, which have earned the city UNESCO World Heritage status.
*The tour duration may be extended by up to half an hour, depending on the group size.
*Please note that the inclusions in the visits vary depending on the option you choose. If you choose to explore the cities independently, only the entrance to the City Walls is included.
