Córdoba offers an enormous cultural and historical legacy. We will begin our visit on foot to the wonderful Cordoba Jewish Quarter, full of life and shops, and emblematic streets such as the Callejón de las Flores, a delight for the senses, to the Plaza del Gran Maimónides, also including the Recoleta Synagogue. Then we will enter the beautiful Cathedral Mosque, a spectacular witness of the Caliphate era.
Once the guided tour is over, you will have free time to walk around, enjoy a traditional meal or do some shopping.
DEION FROM 13/2/25
We will depart from Seville, heading to the city of Carmona, a white village that deserves a short stop to admire its beauty. In addition, here we will take the opportunity to have a coffee and use the restrooms comfortably. After this brief stop, we will head to Cordoba, where we will arrive after approximately one hour's drive. Along the way, you will be able to observe the typical Andalusian landscape, dotted with olive trees. Once in Cordoba, we will take a guided walking tour through the historic center of the city.
We will walk through the most significant streets of the city, passing by the Roman Bridge, the Jewish Quarter, the Royal Stables, and the Synagogue of Cordoba. We will also take a short walk through the famous and colorful courtyards of Cordoba.
After visiting the historic center of Cordoba, we will take a break to enjoy the gastronomy of Cordoba following the recommendations of our guide, or enjoy your own lunch or picnic if you prefer. You will also have some free time if you wish to do some shopping.
After lunch, and to put the finishing touch to our day's excursion, we will visit the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. There, visitors will have enough time to enjoy this wonderful architectural monument, which represents one of the main jewels of the historical and architectural heritage of Andalusia.
After our visit to the Mosque of Cordoba, we will return to the meeting point to board our transportation that will take us back to Seville, where we will arrive after a trip of about an hour and a half.
Due to the length of the walking tour, we recommend you to wear comforchart shoes and drink sufficient water during the walk. The order of the visit can be changed to any unexpected circumstances.
