The Chichen Itza tax and the life vest and locker rental can only be paid by cash, and in Mexican pesos. Mexicans have a discount on the Chichen Itza tax upon presentation of their ID on the day of the tour. The discount will not be applicable without the official identification.
Please, bring cash to pay the Chichen Itza entrance fee as well as for personal expenses. We also recommend that you wear comfortable clothes and shoes, water, a hat or cap, and your camera. You must bring comfortable shoes, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, swimsuit and a towel.
