Far better than we expected. We had no idea about the history of Museus Vaticanos's. They gave us plenty of notice about a schedule change. Easy going, you do not need to be fit for it. Highly recommended.

Wednesdays (Public Audience Days): Please anticipate changes to the museum tour route. The tour may not conclude in St. Peter’s Square. We apologize for any inconvenience; however, these changes are beyond our control, and no refunds will be issued.
Sistine Chapel: Due to Vatican regulations, guides are not permitted to provide commentary inside the chapel. Instead, they will offer a brief introduction to the artwork housed within at the start of the tour—typically while in the courtyard. Recommended time inside: 15 minutes.
Museum Access: Your ticket allows you to remain inside the museums following the guided tour until closing time. At the end of the tour, the guide will collect the audio headsets and provide guidance for those wishing to stay longer.
