This policy explains which personal data PlanTrip.com LLC ("PlanTrip", "we") collects when you use www.plantrip.com, why we collect it, who we share it with and what rights you have. By using the site or making a booking you accept the practices described here.

What data we collect
- Booking data: first and last name, email, phone, nationality, hotel or meeting point, number and ages of travelers, activity date and any comments you send us.
- Payment data: payments are processed by third-party platforms (Stripe or Mercado Pago). PlanTrip does not store your full card number; we only receive the transaction confirmation and the last digits.
- Contact and review data: what you write in the contact form or when you leave a review about a tour.
- Browsing data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and interactions, collected through cookies and analytics tools (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Meta Pixel).
How we use your data
- To manage and confirm your booking and email you the voucher
- To pass the necessary details to the operator providing the service
- To answer questions, complaints and cancellation requests
- To prevent payment fraud
- To measure site usage and improve the experience
- To send you marketing communications only if you opted in
Legal basis
We process your data to perform the booking contract, to comply with legal and accounting obligations, on the basis of our legitimate interest in protecting and improving the site, and with your consent for non-essential cookies and marketing communications.
Who we share your data with
We share only the data that is necessary with: the tour operators and suppliers that provide the booked activity (including Gray Line group companies); payment platforms (Stripe, Mercado Pago); the transactional email service; hosting and web analytics providers. Some of these providers are located outside your country; in those cases we apply the applicable contractual safeguards. We do not sell your personal data.
Cookies
We use necessary cookies (session, cart, language), analytics cookies (Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager) and marketing cookies (Meta Pixel) to measure campaigns. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; necessary cookies are required to complete a booking.
How long we keep your data
Booking and invoicing data is kept for the period required by applicable tax and accounting rules. Contact and browsing data is kept as long as needed for the stated purpose or until you request its deletion.
Your rights
You can request access to, rectification, deletion, portability or restriction of the processing of your data, and object to its use for marketing, by writing to online@plantrip.com from the email address used for your booking. If you believe your rights were not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country.
Minors
Bookings must be made by adults aged 18 or over. Data about minors traveling as passengers is processed only to provide the service and under the responsibility of the adult who books.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. The current version, with its update date, will always be published on this page.
