Discover the old town of Alexandria and bike up to Mount Vernon, the former plantation and burial place of George Washington, the American Revolutionary War general and the first president of the United States, his wife Martha, and 20 other members of the Washington family. What you'll see: Climb Mount Vernon, where you'll visit the historic home of America's first president, George Washington. Store your bike for our team to pick up and explore the mansion, grounds, and more during your stay at the estate. Then board the picturesque riverboat that will take you back to Old Town Alexandria at the FINAL of the day. Included: •Bike Rental •Helmet, Basket/Bike Bag, Area Map •Bike Pickup Service from Mt. Vernon. •Admission to the State Grounds (Home of the First President) •Tickets for the boat.
Requirements:
• All persons must be able to ride their own bikes. Accessories such as double trailers and companion bikes are not allowed for the safety of the group.
*Infant seats (1 year), double toddler trailers and toddler long tag accessories available at extra cost upon request.
• No person under the age of 18 will receive a bicycle without an adult over the age of 18 present.
• Bring a government issued photo ID to be held as a deposit for all rentals and a credit card to keep on file for bike security.
