Let yourself be surprised by the high valleys of northern Argentina with this excursion that will allow you to visit picturesque towns such as Purmamarca, Humahuaca and Iruya, with their great history and culture. They will surprise you!
We will leave early in the morning to start the pickup, you will head towards the surroundings of the province of Jujuy, walking through the different towns where you can visit Purmamarca, the majestic Cerro de los 7 Colores, the Pollera de La Coya in Huacalera, the vegetation It becomes more arid as you advance past Humahuaca. You will enter a path of cornices, with unique mountain landscapes, canyons and spectacular slopes.
We will pass through the small town of Iturbe reaching a maximum height in Apacheta Abra del Cóndor of 4000 meters above sea level. Among peak-shaped mountains, we will find the magical little town of Iruya, known for its simplicity and its people, its streets that tell stories in couplets with ascents and descents. We will return to the road and stop in Humahuaca, where we will have free time to explore the square and have lunch.
On the way back we will find Uquía, The Tropic of Capricorn and the Painter's Palette in Maimará.
During the tour there are stops to walk and take photos.
During peak holiday seasons (July and January), tours may operate on buses with a capacity of up to 50 passengers. In these cases, hotel pick-up services will not be provided; a meeting point will be established in the city center instead.
We recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, sneakers, and comfortable clothing for walking. Carry water to stay hydrated and avoid cramps.
Restaurants for lunch at the destinations are the passengers' choice. Meals are not included.
