This program is a unique opportunity to spend a meaningful and exciting day volunteering at the first ethical elephant sanctuary in Phuket. You'll be assisting us with tasks and immersing yourself in the daily life at our shelter.
We do not require any previous volunteer experience as long as you are a passionate animal lover interested in wildlife. So, if you're physically fit, enthusiastic, and able to work as part of the team in the hot Thai humid climate, whether rain or sun - volunteer!
Volunteering Tasks and Activities:
The tasks will vary daily depending on the work that you need to do. Some activities may include:
Cutting grass, bamboo, and banana trees for the elephants
Cleaning and tidying up around the sanctuary.
Food prep, helping in the kitchen to prepare supplementary elephant food Moving elephant poo and composting Cleaning out the elephant night shelters and water troughs
Any maintenance work that needs to be done to facilities throughout the sanctuary
This tour is perfect for you if you like: nature, elephants, and wildlife.
The volunteer program is suitable for adults aged 18 - 80 years with good health and a passion for working hard for the elephants.
