Regarded as one of the most exquisite and graceful vessels in existence, the Venetian gondola is steeped in rich tradition and craftmanship. Constructed using unique techniques, these magnificent boats hold deep symbolic meaning, like the gondola's intricately designed ferro (or prow) with its multi-pronged shape. Known as pettini, these prongs symbolize the six divisions, or Sestieri, of Venice.
Crafted from iron, the 'ferro' serves a dual purpose: it provides balance to the gondoliers and evokes the graceful flow of the Grand Canal's waters, capturing in its elegant S shape the essence of Venice's fluidity.

* This is a shared gondola (up to 5 people for each one) so the gondola might be shared with other people
* If you choose the economic seat, you will be assigned a random seat and a spot next to your partner or family may not be guaranteed. You can also be seated in a different gondola.
* Comfortable shoes and clothes are advised
* Infants up to 1 year old can ride for free if seated on their parent's lap
* No refund will be accepted for no shows or late comers
* The Gondola Ride will be provided rain or shine, only in AFFAIR of very heavy rain it might be cancelled and the tour will be refunded (if not taken another day/time)
