Starting with a pit stop at Murdeira Bay, you'll trundle off in a closed 4x4 â we're the only ones using covered off-roaders â to the fishing village of Palmeira on the west coast. Its palm tree-lined streets are dotted with mural-painted cafés and tiny shops. Rodrigo says, âPalmeira's kaleidoscopic â and cluttered â souvenir shops are an attraction in themselves.' Then it's on to the Buracona lagoon, famed for how it shimmers when hit by sunlight.
Next, you'll witness the ocean-like sands and mirage of Terra Boa. An optical phenomenon, in which hot rays of light reflect distant objects and the sky, creates the illusion of a desert lake. Back on the road, there's a pit stop at a viewpoint, where you can enjoy an elevated panorama of Espargos, the island's capital. Worth every penny
Best day of our stay in Sal. Great value for money. The guide gave us restaurant tips that turned out to be spot on. The departure point needs better signage, we struggled to find it. Easily one of the best things we did.

Não poderia ter sido melhor. Não pode perder Lago Salgado Pedra da Lume. Comparando com fazer por conta própria, compensa. A equipe em terra foi atenciosa desde o primeiro contato. Faltou informação sobre quais atrações estavam em manutenção. Já recomendei para dois amigos que viajam no mês que vem.

Es de esas cosas que uno recuerda años después. Los tiempos estaban bien calculados, no se sintió apurado. Nos tocó un guía excelente, con mucha data y buen humor. Hubo un rato muerto en el medio que se podría aprovechar mejor. Si volvemos a Sal, lo repetimos.
