Your Everglades adventure begins with a thrilling 30-minute airboat ride across the shimmering, untouched waters of Sawgrass Recreation Park, where vast sawgrass plains, winding marshes, and open sky paint a scene found nowhere OTHERWISE in the world. Guided by an experienced and entertaining airboat captain, you’ll learn about the unique ecosystem that has shaped Florida’s heritage for thousands of years, including the stories of the Seminole Tribe who learned to thrive in this dense wilderness alongside iconic species like the elusive Florida panther. As you glide across tranquil waterways, keep your eyes peeled for alligators, turtles, fish, and a wide variety of birds—many of them endangered—who call this fragile landscape home. After your airboat journey, your admission continues with full access to the park’s Exotic Wildlife Exhibit, a conservation-focused habitat that cares for rescued and adopted animals such as leopards, wolves, bobcats, and smaller mammals, depending on the day. * Special schedule for December 23 & 26 and January 1: tours will start just after 9am until 3:30pm with a final tour at 5:00pm when the exhibits close.
December 24th: Tours will start just after 9am and will run every 20-30 minutes until the final tour at 2:00pm when the exhibits close.
* Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 6 are required to wear a life jacket for safety.

From the North: Take I-95 South or the Turnpike South to 595 West. On 595 take I-75 North towards Naples. Stay on I-75 North until you come to Exit 23 North (U.S. Highway 27) towards South Bay. We are just two miles to the North on the right hand side of the road. Turn right and cross over the bridge, make another immediate right down into the parking lot.
From the South: Take I-95 North or the Turnpike North to 595 West. On 595 take I-75 North towards Naples. Stay on I-75 North until you come to Exit 23 North (U.S. Highway 27) towards South Bay.
