Description

Departure to visit some of the most important points in the history of the city of Salvador, such as some of its first streets, squares and churches. The tour begins at the Farol da Barra in the direction of the Upper City through the Victory Corridor, Campo Grande and Piedade. We continue through the center of the city, passing through the apotheosis of the traditional Salvador carnival circuit, until reaching the great highlight of this itinerary, the Pelourinho, an important cultural center of the city of Salvador, and it is also one of the most important architectural complexes from the 17th and 18th centuries still existing. From the Lacerda Elevator viewpoint, it is possible to appreciate the Upper City, the Lower City and the diversity of angles offered by the variety of planes that the streets and houses of Pelourinho offer. From each place you have a different and amazing aesthetic vision. It is also worth highlighting the beauty of the Churches, such as those of São Francisco de Assis, Catedral Basílica and Nossa Senhora do Rosário dos Pretos. The tour ends at Largo do Pelourinho, with the possibility of visiting the Casa de Jorge Amado Foundation. Back to the hotel.
