Owl Cave
One of the main attractions within the Tingo María National Park, it is located 6.5 km from the city of Tingo María. This enormous cavern consists of more than 6 rooms with calcareous formations of stalactites and stalagmites formed slowly over thousands of years. In addition, these present whimsical shapes that resemble natural sculptures, which make visitors' imaginations fly. The cavern is home to an important colony of guacharos (Steatornis caripensis), bats and insects. At the entrance we can find parrots, swallows among other birds.
Lagoon of Miracles
Known as the Huayruros lagoon or Miraculous lagoon, it is located 25 km from Tingo María, in the Caserío de los Milagros. Many years ago, this lagoon was highly visited by shamans many years ago.
The main tributaries that feed the lagoon are two small streams that grow in the rainy season. But also, from the permanent leaks from the adjacent Belén hill, completely covered with trees and vegetation, despite its almost vertical walls. In addition, on this hill there are numerous caves, which are the nesting place for parrots, macaws, toucans, among other species that, from time to time, fly over the place. Likewise, in this beautiful place you can take boat rides, sport fishing and walks enjoying its flora and fauna.
For adventure lovers, you can go camping, take walks to the viewpoint, climb and rappel in the middle of the jungle and, if you like to feel the adrenaline and dare to fly in the middle of the jungle, the 1000 meter extreme canopy awaits you.

ITINERARY
We leave Tingo María at 8.30 am. to the hamlet of Honolulu.
Next, we began a trekking to the Honolulu Falls. Upon arrival, we begin visiting more than six continuous waterfalls, where you can enjoy a unique landscape.
In addition, you can take some refreshing dips in its different natural pools; Likewise, receive hydrotherapy massages in its waterfalls of pure and crystalline waters.
After all these, we get ready for the extreme adventure. Then, once equipped, we began to climb the hill, through the waterfalls equipped with equipment such as ropes, helmets, harnesses, carabiners and other equipment to reach the Chullachaqui Jacuzzi. This mysterious place is located in the middle of the hill between two waterfalls. Likewise, you will be able to experience unique emotions and enjoy a moment of adventure in a spectacular, magical and mysterious place.
Next, we begin our journey until we reach the Chullachaqui waterfalls. This beautiful jungle spot is hidden in the middle of the thick virgin forest.
This place hides many mysteries. Every night of the full moon, Chullachaqui usually comes out to enjoy this wonderful paradise hidden in the middle of the virgin jungle to enjoy its jacuzzi.
