Part-eating part-educational tour of foods in Singapore: belachan, keropok, and spices. Then a behind-the-scenes curry puff factory tour and DIY popiah making.
ITINERARY
This is not just an eating tour. There's plenty of eating involved, yes. But it is also about the beloved wet markets and hawker centers, the origins and heritage of the foods like local coffee, belachan, roti prata, and how some things came to be.
We start out eating, of course. You're brought to a hawker center to sample the best of the best local dishes. At a local wet market, you will be introduced to local ingredients and when these ingredients are used in familiar dishes.
Next, an intimate visit to two family-run shops/factories to get behind the behind-the-scenes of the local food industry. More eating! Then, before you know it, it's a hands-on popiah rolling cum lunch session.
We start sweet and FINAL sweet, and what better food than the beloved putu piring! Of course, we don't just bring you to try any putu piring. But this is arguably Singaporean's favorite putu piring stall. You see how it's made in front of your eyes and eat as many as you want.
So come with an empty belly and a thirst for an in-depth food journey of Singapore Food.

Boa opção para conhecer Singapur. O motorista foi contando o que era cada coisa até MAIS COMIDA. Os tempos estavam bem calculados, não foi corrido. Gostaríamos de saber antes que precisava caminhar bastante. Boa opção, principalmente na primeira visita.

Boa escolha se for sua primeira vez em Singapur. O roteiro é bem pensado, não repete nem dá voltas desnecessárias. Sai mais que fazer solto, mas poupa toda a organização. O áudio cortava em alguns trechos. Com esses detalhes ajustados seria nota 10.

Worth every penny
Booked at the last minute and it was a great call. Far less stressful than haggling for a taxi outside the airport. Great value for money. Getting through MAIS COMIDA was quick and direct. The group was not huge, which made it much more comfortable. Suitable for any age.
