The Panoramic Tour is a good option for those who want to know more about history, culture and the tourist attractions of the first capital of Brazil. It begins at Barra Lighthouse, (optional visit to the Nautical Museum), and continues up the Centenário Avenue to Dique do Tororó (Tororó Pond), a natural source wonderfully decorated with sculptures representing the ORIXÁS, the African deities who were introduced to Brasil by the slaves imported from Africa. Near the pond we can see the new Soccer Stadium Arena da Fonte Nova.
Next we visit the Bomfim Church, scenery of a Feast which is considered the heyday of bahian religious syncretism. On the way, in the Ribeira district, we can enjoy delicious tropical fruits ice cream (optional).Finally, a visit to the traditional handcraft market - Mercado Modelo.
