Embark on an unforgettable journey to the heart of the San Juan mountain range, crossing the majestic Quebrada de Las Burras. Our first stop is the imposing Cerro Alcázar, a natural gem that amazes with its whimsical shapes and intense colors.
We continue to Barreal, a charming mountain setting, where we'll discover the immensity of the El Leoncito Pampa and the unspoiled beauty of El Leoncito National Park. It is home to two of the most important astronomical centers in the Cuyo region: the CASLEO Observatory, part of CONICET (National Council of Tourism), and the CESCO Observatory, part of the National University of San Juan.
The tour culminates in the town of Calingasta, where its historic town center and the moving Cristo de la Misericordia (Christ of Mercy) await us, from where you can enjoy dreamy panoramic views. We return to San Juan in the afternoon, our hearts filled with unforgettable landscapes and experiences.
Admission to El Leoncito Park is not included. It costs approximately AR$3,000. It is paid upon entering the park.
Some hotels in the city are not included in our pickup itinerary. If this is the case, we will contact you to indicate the closest hotel to which you should go so that we can pick you up for the excursion. You must wait for your guide in the lobby of the indicated hotel.
