Day 1: Catamarca / Fiambalá
The adventure begins crossing the majestic Quebrada de la Cébila, an impressive natural gateway that introduces us to the valleys of western Catamarca. The landscape takes on a reddish hue as we enter the Quebrada de los Colorados, where the mountains display their most intense beauty.
The tour continues through Villa Mazán and Aimogasta, lands of walnut and olive groves, until reaching the charming Copacabana, surrounded by vineyards and hills. From there, the road takes us to Tinogasta, a place steeped in history and tradition.
We will visit the emblematic Adobe Route, a heritage treasure that preserves five colonial churches over three centuries old, built from adobe and steeped in spirituality.
Finally, we arrive at the Fiambalá Hot Springs, a natural oasis nestled among the mountains. Its hot spring pools, with varying temperatures, invite you to relax while enjoying the Andean surroundings and an unforgettable sunset. Return and accommodation in the village.
Day 2: Fiambalá / Catamarca
In the morning, we depart in 4WD vehicles for the heart of the Seismiles, one of the most impressive regions of Alta Catamarca. After passing through the La Coipa refuge, we arrive at the impressive Balcón de Pissis, from where you can see the majestic Mount Pissis, at 6,882 meters above sea level, the second highest peak in the Americas.
From this vantage point, you can admire the Lagunas Blanca and Azul and the Quebrada de Valle Ancho, a natural habitat for flamingos, vicuñas, and parinas that embellish the landscape.
We will then visit the Cortaderas Complex and, later, take Route 560 to the Cañón del Indio, where we will hike for 30 minutes among rock formations sculpted by wind and time.
In the afternoon, we begin our return trip to the city of Catamarca, arriving at night with our hearts filled with unforgettable landscapes.
