Description
Explore the vibrant and historic Pigneto district with our unique "Candlelight Happy Hour in the Pigneto District". Known for its bohemian atmosphere, this neighbourhood has been the backFALL for classic Italian films such as Pasolinis "Accattone" and has evolved into one of Romes most dynamic areas for arts and nightlife.
Your experience begins in the late afternoon, meeting at the Via Casilina exit of Metro C Pigneto Station. This area is deeply rooted in history, transitioning from an ancient Roman vineyard to a working-class suburb, and played a significant role during the resistance in World War II. Today, Pigneto is celebrated for its pedestrian streets lined with colourful murals, hip bars, and a diverse culinary scene. As the sun sets, youll be guided to an exclusive local venue known for its charm and historical significance. Here, beneath the modern streets, lies an ancient subterranean space where your happy hour takes place. This hidden gem provides a cool reprieve from the city buzz where you can enjoy the soft glow of candlelight and the rustic ambiance of aged brick walls.
During the happy hour, you will indulge in a selection of specially chosen wines, each representing a different era of Italian winemaking history. These wines will be paired with a variety of traditional appetisers, including local cheeses and cured meats, homemade gnocchi, and classic focaccia. Each pairing is thoughtfully chosen to highlight the flavours and history of the region. Our food and wine connoisseur will provide insights into the historical significance of the dishes, the evolution of Pignetos culinary landscape, and the storied vineyards from which the wines hail.
This tour not only offers a taste of Pignetos nightlife but also an immersive experience into the historical layers that define this unique Roman district, making it a must-do for those looking to discover the city beyond its tourist paths

Booked at the last minute and it was a great call. Punctual and smooth, no hiccups. We really enjoyed the Pigneto part. One of the best things we have booked online.

Nada a reclamar, tudo saiu como estava descrito. Gostamos muito da parte de Pigneto Foxwoods. Ótimo custo benefício. Cinco estrelas mais que merecidas.

We enjoyed it
Does what it says on the tin. No long waits at any point. I did not expect red and white) paired with local specialties to be included, a nice bonus. One of the stops was closed that day and nobody mentioned it. I would do it again anyway.

Positive overall
A good pick if it is your first time in Roma. Slick logistics, clearly done every day. Fixed price agreed upfront, no surprises on arrival. For what we paid, it is exceptional value. We waited about fifteen minutes longer than agreed.
