About 80 miles (130 km) south of Santiago lies Colchagua Valley, one of Chiles largest and best-known wine regions, home to high-profile wineries such as Montes and Viu Manent. Visit these two wineries â or similar alternatives â on this full-day wine tour with a local guide. Learn about the history of winemaking in Colchagua Valley as you enjoy tastings of popular varietals such as malbec, syrah and carmenere. Lunch is not included, but you have time to take it. This day trip is limited to eight people, ensuring you enjoy a small-group experience.
After your hotel pickup from Santiago, your Colchagua Valley day trip starts with a 2.5-hour drive south of the city to La Postolle winery (or similar), a family-operated viña (vineyard) that produces some of Chile's award-winning wine.
