Description
The excursion begins at the 'Bajo de las Sombras' port, located on Route 11 at km 70.9—an hour and a half from El Calafate and just 7 km from the glacier. Passengers must make their own way to the port, where they will board a vessel to navigate across Lago Rico. From the water, you can take in the impressive ice wall of the Perito Moreno Glacier, along with the icebergs that have calved from it.
This one-hour boat trip offers a unique perspective from the comfort of our vessels, allowing you to admire the striking walls of the Perito Moreno Glacier and witness the frequent, thunderous collapses of ice into the waters of Lago Rico.
